Interfaces Research Symposium
Crossing Disciplinary Lines in Biomedical Research
June 15, 2007, 9am - 2pm
WeaverCenterMap.pdf, Institute of the Americas
University of California, San Diego

Sponsored by the UCSD Interfaces Graduate Program

We are pleased to announce the 1st Annual Interfaces Research Symposium! The symposium will offer graduate students the unique challenge of presenting their work to other students and faculty from across the biological, medical, physical, and engineering sciences. This will also be an excellent opportunity for attendees to identify common interests and form new interdisciplinary collaborations within the UCSD community. The program will include a keynote speaker and podium and poster presentations by graduate students (see the tentative schedule below).

It will take place in the Weaver Center, on the 1st floor of the Intstitute of the Americas: view an online map or WeaverCenterMap.pdf.

Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided to registered attendees.

Whether you are currently involved in interdisciplinary biomedical research or simply interested in exploring its potential, we encourage you to attend. Please use the registration form if you would like to attend. Registration is required to enjoy breakfast and lunch.

Instructions for submitting abstracts to be considered for podium and poster presentations are on the abstract submission form.
