Research Description: 

The major aim of my research project is to use computational simulation to elucidate mechanisms by which dATP aids in myocyte contraction. This process will also help uncover any possible negative side effects of dATP treatment for heart failure patients. The project requires an integrative approach in which the body of experimental data that has been gathered (rate constants, transient kinetics, etc.) can be organized and integrated for our purposes.
