Domain Science
Dr. Cauwenberghs investigates multiscale spatiotemporal dynamics of electrical and electrochemical activity in the human brain and its implications in neurological and sleep disorders such as tinnitus and apnea, as well as opportunities for active neurofeedback remediation.

Dr. Cauwenberghs develops biosensor and electrode arrays and biomedical integrated circuits for unobtrusive and minimally invasive probing and modulation of multiscale electrophysiological and metabolic function.
